Please ensure that you download and print the Registration Form below and bring it along on the day of the Race.

Our fourth 10k road race is all in aid of local charities.

Route

The route, which is one lap on country lanes, is quiet, pleasant and rural through the North Bucks countryside. It leaves Winslow and passes Verney Junction, Sandhills then East Claydon and returns via the Granborough Road to Winslow. (With a bit of a climb to finish, so keep something back!)

Registration

On-Line Registration will shortly be available

or by post from: Neil Udall, 4 Magpie Way, Winslow, MK18 3JT using the downloadable Application Form
'On the day' entries will be very limited and will close promptly at 10am.

The start and finish will be at the Furze Down School, Verney Rd. MK18 3BL

Start planned for 10:30 am.

A quality T shirt will be given to all finishers.

Numbers are limited to 400 so please ensure you register early
(200 places already registered - so be quick!)

Facilities

Toilet and changing facilities will be provided but please be prepared for the inevitable numbers of fellow runners. Hot drinks and snacks will be available for sale in the school hall. Winslow has several fine eating venues and are listed on the Google Map to the right.

Parking

Unfortunately there will be no parking at the school as it is limited and unsafe for the runners . With kind permission from the 'Winslow Centre' you can use there large car park, a short walk from the start (direction signs will indicate the shortcut!). There is plenty of other parking available in the town centre at the Winslow Public Hall, Greyhound Lane and the Market Square.
Parking can also be found in nearby streets and lanes providing it is legal and does not obstruct residents. Locations are indicated on the Google Map to the right.

Sponsorship

We are aware of the strains of sponsorship in the lead up to the London Marathon so we are not asking for individuals to seek sponsors. However we hope that you have a brilliant time and feel generous when you see the collection buckets at the school.

Look forward to seeing you!       Neil Udall - Race Director
