The Lions Club have now staged their second 10k road run.

308 runners completed the course around the quiet rural roads of North Bucks. The weather was fine but a bit breezy and overcast.

The first runner home was Anuradha Cooray from Vale of Aylesbury AC in a time of 32.32.
In fact the first three places all went to runners from Vale of Aylesbury AC with Charlie May in 2nd place in a time of 33:46 and Frank Rooney in 3rd with a time of 35:07
The First Male Vet 40 home was Andrew Rolt also of Vale of Aylesbury AC in overal position of 4th and a time of 35:27.
The First Male Vet 50 home was David Harwell of Oxford City AC in overal position of 20th and a time of 39:29.
In 25th place the First Female finisher was Lia Marshall of Vale of Aylesbury AC in 40:47.

In 34th position was the first Female Vet 45 Julia Austin of Vale of Aylesbury AC in a time of 42:22.

In 56th position came Derek Peverill from Vale of Aylesbury AC, the first Male Vet 60 in 44:50
The First Female Vet 35 home was Emma Keys of Headington RR in overal position of 69th and a time of 45:54.
The First Female Vet 55 home was Sue Barnes of Vale of Aylesbury AC in overal position of 84th and a time of 47:11.
The First Male Vet 70 home was John Prosser in a time of 62:55.

Margaret Clark of SCVAC was running in the Female Vet 65 category and finished in a time of al ittle over 73 minutes.
